Rain forced most of the District 2 baseball and softball playoff games scheduled for Tuesday to be moved to Wednesday.
The following baseball games have been moved to 4:30 p.m. Wednesday unless noted: Scranton Prep at Berwick; Honesdale at Dallas; Wyoming Area at Tunkhannock; Nanticoke Area vs. Valley View, 7 p.m. at the University of Scranton; Northwest at Elk Lake, 4 p.m.; Holy Cross at Lackawanna Trail; and Mountain View at Blue Ridge.
The following softball games have been rescheduled for 4:30 p.m. Wednesday: Crestwood at Honesdale; Coughlin at Berwick; Scranton Prep at Dallas; Carbondale at Meyers; and GAR at Dunmore.
Two softball games were still listed as being played Tuesday on the District 2 website, piaad2.org — North Pocono at Southern Lehigh and Forest City at Mahanoy Area.
