RAILRIDERS NOTES — 3B Brandon Drury extended his on-base streak to 31 games, which ties the SWB record, after reaching four times against the Louisville Bats on Saturday. Drury has been on base every game he’s played with the RailRiders this season. … LHP Justus Sheffield recorded his first Triple-A win on Friday when he pitched six scoreless innings against the Bats. Sheffield struck out a Triple-A career-high eight batters in the win. … OF Clint Frazier continues to torch left-handed pitching. He sports a .375 batting average in 24 at-bats against southpaws. In fact, three of his five home runs this season have came off lefties.

ROCHESTER NOTES — OF Jake Cave was called up by the Minnesota Twins on Saturday, filling Tyler Duffey’s roster spot. The former SWB mainstay is batting .280 with five home runs and 25 RBI in 50 games with the Red Wings this season. … The RailRiders are scheduled to face a familiar foe on Wednesday in LHP Dietrich Enns. The southpaw pitched in 21 games, including 17 starts, over two seasons with the RailRiders. Enns collected a 8-3 record and 1.82 ERA over the stretch. … DH Kennys Vargas is tied for sixth in the International League with eight home runs. Vargas is batting .304 in 54 games this season.
