Marc Minichello, a freshman at the University of Pennsylvania, took home top honors in the javelin at the Ivy League Outdoor Track Championships on Sunday.

Minichello, a Wyoming Area graduate, won with a throw of 219 feet, 8 inches on his second throw of the meet. He was more than a foot better than second-place finisher Cole Andrus of Dartmouth, whose best throw was 218-4.
