Weather took its toll on the District 2 softball championship schedule Tuesday as all four games were postponed.
There has been a bit of shuffling in the schedule:
• Class 6A championship: Hazleton Area vs. Delaware Valley, 2 p.m. Wednesday at the University of Scranton.
• Class 5A championship: Pittston Area vs. Abington Heights, 6:30 p.m. Wednesday at the University of Scranton.
• Class 4A championship: Scranton Prep vs. Honesdale, 4:30 p.m. Thursday at the University of Scranton.
• Class 3A championship: Wyoming Seminary vs. Mid Valley, 4:30 Thursday at the Pittston Area Primary Center.
• Class 2A championship: Northwest vs. Holy Cross, 1:30 p.m. Thursday at the University of Scranton.
• Class A championship: Blue Ridge vs. Old Forge, 4 p.m. Wednesday at the University of Scranton.
Scranton Prep and Honesdale have clinched berths in Monday’s PIAA state playoffs. Only the district champion will advance in the other classifications.
