Connor McGovern isn’t able to participate in the Dallas Cowboys minicamp this week, but he got an important piece of business settled on Wednesday.

The Cowboys announced that the former Lake-Lehman and Penn State offensive lineman has signed his four-year rookie contract. Overthecap.com lists the total value of the deal at $3,403,116 along with a signing bonus of $882,108.

McGovern is sitting out with a pectoral strain that Cowboys coach Jason Garrett said he suffered during organized team activities last week, and the team is aiming to have him ready for training camp in July.

McGovern, selected with the 90th overall pick in in April, was the last member of Dallas’ draft class to sign, a common occurence for third-round picks because of the CBA allows them some room to negotiate in an otherwise locked-in rookie wage scale.
