Shane Robinson clubbed two home runs to lead an offensive surge by the Lehigh Valley IronPigs on Saturday night as they defeated the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders 12-3 in Allentown.

Robinson got the IronPigs on the board early clubbing two-run home run in the first inning.

Rob Brantly made it 3-0 in the bottom of the fourth with a solo home run before the RailRiders got on the board with Mike Ford RBI double to cut the score to 3-1.

However, the Iron Pigs put the game away, scoring nine runs over the next three innings.

Nick Williams got things stated off with an RBI double in the fifth, followed by a two-run double by Brantly. Lance Adams finished the scoring in the fifth with an RBI single.

Robinson added a solo home run in the sixth and an RBI walk in the seventh before Adam Haseley drove in the final two IronPig runs with a bases-loaded single.

In the eighth, Mike Ford hit his eighth home run of the season and Logan Morrison had an RBI single to close out the scoring.

Randall Delgado (1-3) was tagged with the loss. He lasted just 4 1/3 innings, allowing six runs, five earned, on five hits. He struck out seven while walking three.

Cole Irvin picked up the win for Lehigh Valley, going seven innings and allowing one run on six hits while striking out six.
