Wilkes-Barre Area outlasted the 3-point shooting barage from Tunkhannock to pull out a 52-48 win Friday in Wyoming Valley Conference boys basketball.

Cole Walker scored 24 points to lead Wilkes-Barre Area and Naquan Hollman scored 15.

The Tigers made 11 threes in the loss. Ryan Harder hit four of them and led the team with 21 points.

Lake-Lehman 57, Hanover Area 46

Max Paczewski scored 23 points to lead the Black Knights past Hanover Area. Josh Kane also had 17 points and was followed by Hayden Klopp with seven points.

Todd Kolbicka carried the Hawkeyes offense with 15 points.

Northwest 46, Millville 31

The Rangers took control in the second half, outscoring Millville 28-14 for the victory.

Landon Hufford scored 10 of his game-high 13 points in the second half. Gary McLendon added 12 points for Northwest while Chase Biller scored 11.

South Williamsport 47, Northwest 13

Charleigh Miner led Northwest in scoring with four points and and Kennedy Yaple followed with three points.

Claudia Green had 18 for South Williamsport and Rachel Stahl added 12.
