FIRST TEAM
Mackenzie Love
Sr., F, Lake-Lehman
The reigning Times Leader Player of the Year finished her outstanding career with 50 goals, 12 assists and 112 points. Love’s three goals in a PIAA First Round loss to Midd-West was one of 11 hat tricks on the season. She scored a goal and a PK to lead the Black Knights to their second-straight district title.
Amanda Ayers
Sr., F, Lake-Lehman
Ayers scored the game-winning PK in the Black Knights’ victory over Montrose in the District 2 Class 2A final. She propelled Lake-Lehman with 26 goals and 17 assists, including three helpers in the PIAA first round game. Ayers scored twice in the first 17 minutes of a 2-0 district semi win over Berwick.
Kendall Pearage
Sr., F, Coughlin
Pearage reaches her third straight TL all-star appearance after leading Coughlin with 16 goals, 12 assists and 44 points. The Misericordia-bound forward had a goal or an assist on each of the Crusaders’ seven district playoff scores.
Lydia Traugh
Sr., M, Berwick
A young Bulldogs squad was guided by their two-time TL all-star in midfield. Traugh led Berwick with 27 goals, nine assists and 63 points. She had a goal and an assist in Berwick’s 3-1 win over Wyoming Area in the Class 2A quarterfinal.
Carly Cavanaugh
So., D, Holy Redeemer
As the lone defender and one two underclassmen on the all-star team, Cavanaugh improved in her role in Holy Redeemer’s backfield. She made a team save in the Royals’ upset win over district champion Lake-Lehman in September. Offensively, Cavanaugh supplied the Royals with a team-best 15 assists.
Kennadi Josefowicz
So., F, Wyoming Valley West
So. – Forward
Wielding one of the hardest-hit shots in the league, Josefowicz led the WVC Division 1 with 27 goals and 60 points. She scored four goals in the Spartans’ three district playoff games. Josefowicz had hat tricks against Pittston Area, Tunkhannock, and Hazleton Area.
Melissa Herrera
Jr., F, Crestwood
Herrera earns her place on her third TL all-star team with 24 goals and two assists. Her flashy footwork, field awareness and outstanding finishing paced the Comets to a second-place finish in the WVC. Herrera scored a hat trick in just 21 minutes against Wyoming Valley West.
Vanessa Atie
Sr., M, Crestwood
With teammate Herrera, the senior do-everything player put her heart and soul on the field to energize the Comets in a PK loss in the district semis. Atie’s goal in that game was one of 15 (including three hat tricks) for her this season. Her exuberance on the field helped Crestwood to an 11-2-1 record.
Aleah Kranson
Jr., F, Wyoming Area
Wyoming Area’s most successful season since girls soccer played in the spring was in part to Kranson’s WVC Division 2 scoring-leading season. Kranson tallied 43 goals, 24 assists and 110 points to lead the Warriors to the No. 4 seed. She had two goals in a near upset of district champ Lake-Lehman.
Rachel Nelligan
Sr., GK, Dallas
Nelligan made nine saves en route to a clean sheet against Abington Heights in the Class 3A district final. She finished with five shutouts on the year. Nelligan kept Dallas in contention during a 1-0 state playoff loss to East Pennsboro with five stops.

Berwick
The Bulldogs were one of the surprise teams this season in reaching the district semis for the first time since 2013. DiPippa turned a team of five freshmen in its starting XI into a formidable lineup during the second half of play. Seniors Lydia Traugh and Cassidy Eckert each finished with 60-plus point seasons.
