Brenna Babcock scored her 1,000th career point on her 25 point night to lead the Northwest girls basketball team past Meyers, 66-33, on Thursday.

Amanda Gray had a team high 10 points for Meyers.

Holy Redeemer 66, Wyoming Valley West 47

Sam Yencha (16 points), Julia Andrejko (14), Sam Razja (14) and Cameron Marcinkowski (13) scored in double digits for Redeemer.

Andi Blaski had 16 points for Wyoming Valley West.

Hazleton Area 65, Berwick 24

The Cougars outscored Berwick 40-12 in the first half en route to 41-point win.

Hazleton Area was led by a 15-point effort from Maddie Mrochko and a 10-point effort from Faith Grula. Mrochko also sank a pair of 3-pointers.

Berwick was paced by Reese Mensinger, who scored nine points including a pair of triples.

Lake-Lehman 42, Dallas 25

Lake-Lehman didn’t look back after blanking the Mountaineers in the first quarter.

Madison Borum scored a game-high 19 points to pace the Black Knights. Savannah Purdy was second on the team with 15.

Samantha Kern led Dallas with eight points.

Hanover Area 53, MMI Prep 18

Genisis Rodriguez scored 30 points as Hanover Area defeated MMI Prep.

Irene Altmiller scored nine to pace MMI.

Wyoming Seminary 68, GAR 35

Alex Wesneski led Wyoming Seminary with 29 points.

Olivia Prato paced GAR with 13 points.

Pittston Area 49, Tunkhannock 14

Alexa Noone led Pittston Area with 25 points.

Jess Ell had five points for Tunkhannock.
