The Northeastern Pennsylvania Alliance (NEPA) and Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development (DCED) presented Misericordia University with a $50,000 Appalachian Regional Commission (ARC) grant. The project was recommended for ARC funding by the NEPA Alliance and the Pennsylvania Office of Appalachian Development. ARC funding for equipment acquisition will augment the teaching and learning for students and faculty comprising the College of Arts and Sciences and the College of Health Sciences and will support the professional development of the future medical and health care professionals and biologists, biochemists and chemists.
