PLYMOUTH TWP. — The board of supervisors approved an audit proposal from Rainey and Rainey Associates, CPAs, at Monday night’s meeting.

The audit will be for the years 2014, 2015 and 2016. Services will include statements of the government activities, the business-type activities, each major fund and the aggregate remaining fund information.

The supervisors have authorized a letter of support for the Susquehanna Warrior Trail Extension project. This coming summer, the Susquehanna Warrior Trail will be extended from the Garden Drive-In into the Plymouth Township Recreation Association field complex. The project contains plans for trail heads at the Canal Lock Park parking area and at the Plymouth Township Recreation Association field complex parking area.

Township’s solicitor Robert Zaruta said that the township is approaching the 30-day mark for the request of funds from the DCED. All residents involved with the buyouts will be contacted within the next couple of weeks, and closings will be scheduled.

Alan Baranski, of the NEPA Alliance, reported that the EIT report through the end of February 2015 is “where we should be in terms of funding flow.”

The next meeting of the Plymouth Township Supervisors will be held at 6 p.m. on April 6.
