Two recent articles caught my eye. One was about the University of Scranton which, wanting to remain faithful to its Catholic identity, was ending employee abortion coverage. The other was about convicted murderer Hugo Selenski.

I found it surreal that, if Selenski had received the death penalty, he would be protected because of Gov. Tom Wolf’s moratorium. Not so for the most innocent and most vulnerable, the unborn baby in the cradle of his/her mother’s womb!

As a side note, Gov. Wolf is the first governor in the history of our country who was a former Planned Parenthood clinic escort. These escorts are volunteers who walk with patients from their car to the building, blocking them from the people praying and the pro-life sidewalk counselors. The escort’s job is to encourage women to have the abortion and to prevent them from hearing the options and resources available for them and their baby.

Hopefully, the governor will now allow women to hear all the pertinent information.
