Soldiers from the 55th Armored Brigade Combat Team (ABCT) recently read to students at Hanover Green Elementary School in honor of Dr. Seuss’ birthday, Hats Off to Reading and Read Across America week. Each soldier visited with students and read a selection of Dr. Seuss books, shared their own stories about the military and answered questions from the students. Theodor Seuss Geisel (Dr. Seuss) served in the United States Army during World War II.
