Sister Miriam Francis Stadulis, founder of the McGlynn Learning Center, and Elizabeth Griesmer, who has dedicated more than 25 years serving the children of the McGlynn Center as a volunteer, will be honored 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday, April 8 at the Genetti Hotel and Conference Center, Wilkes-Barre. The public is invited. The McGlynn Center is an after-school program for at-risk children that has two locations, Boulevard Townhomes and Mineral Springs Village, Wilkes-Barre.
