WILKES-BARRE —Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee Jackson Browne will make a one-night stop at the F.M. Kirby Center for the Performing Arts on Sept. 12th at 7:30 p.m.

The stop is part of Browne’s second leg of his 2015 U.S. Summer tour to support his new album, “Standing In The Breach.”

Tickets go on sale Friday and will be available through the Kirby Center box office, online at www.kirbycenter.org and charge by phone at (570) 826-1100. A special Kirby Members pre-sale will begin Wednesday at 10 a.m. Members buy first, so join today at (570) 823-4599, ext. 225.

“Standing In The Breach,” Jackson’s new studio album, is a collection of 10 songs that are deeply personal and political and they explore love, hope, and defiance in the face of the advancing uncertainties of modern life.

Fans will also be treated to an evening of Jackson’s classics, such as “Running on Empty,” “Somebody’s Baby,” “Take It Easy” and more.
