NANTICOKE: The Living Way of the Cross, a prayerful journey through the passion, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, will be solemnly presented by the St. Faustina Parish Youth Ministry with music by the St. Faustina choir at 7:30 p.m. on Palm Sunday, March 29, at the St. Faustina Parish main site, 520 S. Hanover Street. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m. regardless of weather conditions.

PLAINS TWP.: The Women’s Society of SS. Peter and Paul Church will meet at 7 p.m. on Monday, March 16, in the parish center. Hostesses are Mary Dre and Marie Fender.

The women of the prayer shawl group will meet 6-7 p.m. to crochet. Women who crochet, or those who would like to learn, are invited to join.

Final plans for the trip to New York City will be discussed. Seats are still available. For information contact Joan Pisack at 570-822-3815 or the parish rectory. Spring activities will also be discussed and information will be available on the November trip to the Sight and Sound Theater to see the “Miracle of Christmas.”

WEST PITTSTON: The First United Methodist Church of West Pittston is holding a pastie sale on Thursday, March 19. Varieties are meat, with or without onions, vegetable with cheese and sausage and peppers. Cost is $6 each.
