The Nanticoke Conservation Club held its annual Ice Fishing Derby at Frances Slocum State Park on Feb. 3. The event attracted 189 anglers who fished on ice that ranged from 8 to 10 inches thick. Winners were awarded by heaviest fish in the following categories:

Bass – Joe Deyo, 4 lbs. 14.2 oz.

Perch – Pat Reardin, 10.1 oz.

Crappie – Cody Quick, 10.9 oz.

Bluegill – Zachary Roberts, 5.2 oz.

Pickeral – John Baker, 2 lbs. 1.7 oz.

The heaviest bass at the Nanticoke Conservation Club’s Ice Fishing Derby on Feb. 3 was caught by Pat Reardin. The fish weighed more than four pounds.
