St. Jude School recently welcomed Theo Lencicki, this year’s Artist in Residency. Lencicki has a degree in theatre and dance from Penn State University and is a faculty member of the Arts Alive Institute in Scranton. He has toured the United States on three national Broadway tours and has performed abroad in South America and Japan. Lencicki worked with the pre-kindergarten through eighth-grade students on a choreographed program with featured solos consisting of selections from Broadway musicals. His 20-day residency culminated with a student performance under his direction in the school gymnasium. Some of the participants, from left, first row, are Kyle Kocon and Carly Glaser.
