HUGHESTOWN — Students in Mrs. Ferentino’s first grade class at the Pittston Area Primary Center, along with their student teacher Miss Kristen Rebovich from Bloomsburg University, took an everyday language arts lesson and turned it into an inquiry-based learning activity.
The students are currently studying the life cycle of a frog and as a part of this lesson, have raised seven tadpoles that are kept in their very own “tadpole observation center.” The students observe the tadpoles daily and record the changes they see.
