DALLAS — Members and friends of the Rotary Club of Dallas recently gathered at the Appletree Terrace, Newberry Estate, Dallas to celebrate the 88th anniversary of the signing of the club’s charter in March 1927. That historic event launched almost nine decades of “Service Above Self” by the club members in our Back Mountain community.

One of the highlights of this year’s charter night celebration was the presentation of a Paul Harris Fellow Award for “Service Above Self” to Past President Melissa Saxon, a second-time winner of this prestigious award.

The Rotary Club of Dallas meets at 6:30 p.m. every Thursday evening at the Irem Country Club in Dallas. Membership inquiries are always welcome.
