First National Community Bank (FNCB) announced the kickoff of the third annual ‘Piggy Bank Pageant’ in conjunction with the start of Financial Literacy Month. The homemade piggy bank design contest is open to area students in grades 2-5 and offers $25 prizes to winners at each of the 19 FNCB community offices and one $200 Best in Show prize. The contest runs throughout the month of April. Entry forms and contest details are available at any community office or www.fncb.com/piggy. With her piggy bank, is last year’s Best in Show winner Danielle Lamberti, a fifth-grade student at Lackawanna Trail Elementary School.
