The pre-school through kindergarten classes at the Trucksville Early Childhood Education Center recently took part in the center’s annual MDA Hop-a-thon. The children prepared for the event (which coincides with Easter) by watching short developmentally-appropriate videos teaching them about children with Muscular Dystrophy. They also made bunny-ear headbands to wear. Parents were invited to watch as they performed the Bunny Hop in the Center’s Memorial Hall. The Hop-A-Thon raised $623.50 for Muscular Dystrophy. From left, are Alexis Hudak, Emily Smith, Brooke Reilly and Arianna Kazimi.
