Wilkes-Barre Area School District is hosting its inaugural bowling tournament from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Sunday, April 19, at Stanton Lanes, Wilkes-Barre. The tournament will consist of students, faculty, staff and families from district schools. The proceeds will benefit the Winterset Estates Charitable Fund for Albert Thomas’ bladder cancer expenses and the Take Charge for Joey Foundation. Bowlers can register by calling Brian Fischer, activities director, at 570-826-7224.
