EXETER — Wyoming Area’s annual Title I Parent Involvement Meeting was held on Tuesday, March 24 at John F. Kennedy Elementary School.

The annual Title I parent meeting focused on how parents could help imrove their child’s academic success by being involved with their child’s education and communicating with the Title 1 staff.

The guest speaker for the meeting was Shelly Morrill, a Title I parent, who attended the Pennsylvania State Parent Advisory Council (SPAC) conference last year. Morrill shared her experiences and educational information obtained from the conference on how parents could help improve their child’s academic skills.

Parents also had the opportunity to hear information on the district’s Title I Reading Program from coordinator Rita Mauriello.
