The Drs. Robert S. and Judith A. Gardner Educational Forum Series at Wilkes University recently hosted a delegation from Wyoming Seminary to discuss the college preparatory school’s Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) Program. Rachel Bartron, Jill Carrick and the Rev. Charles Carrick, who all teach courses in the preparatory school’s STEM program, spoke to an audience of parents, certified teachers, and Wilkes faculty and pre-service teachers about the STEM program’s interdisciplinary nature that combines the content knowledge and skill sets necessary for students to succeed in science- and mathematics-related fields.
