The King’s College International Student Recruitment Office, Hispanic Outreach Program and Admissions Office recently hosted 11 students and two chaperones from Colegio Altair Internacional, a private secondary school in Madrid, Spain. The students toured the campus, attended a presentation on American higher education and ate in the college’s dining hall. Wyoming Seminary and Colegio Altair have participated in a mutual student exchange every other year for the past eight years. Wyoming Seminary students and chaperones travel to Madrid for two weeks during their spring break, then the students from Altair visit the Wyoming Valley for two weeks during their spring break. Seminary students stayed in the homes of the students from Spain and hosted them on their return trip. While in the United States, the students from Spain also visited New York City, Philadelphia and Washington, D.C. They also visited many local venues, including Hillside Farms.
