Doubles play proved to be the difference as Holy Redeemer slipped past Crestwood, 3-2, in Wyoming Valley Conference boys tennis action on Monday.
The No. 1 doubles team of Bailey Endler and Rob Dougherty won 6-1, 6-1, while Connor Murray and Zach Patterson recored a 6-2, 7-5 win at No. 2.
Josh Wychock picked up the Royals’ lone singles win 6-0, 6-2 in No. 1.

Anthony DeLuca and Antony Braminski teamed up to win the No. 1 doubles match in the Mountaineers victory.
Dallas’ No. 2 doubles tandem of Joe Bevevino and Adam Niznik won in straight sets 6-3, 6-0.
MMI 3, Coughlin 2
The Preppers swept their singles matches in a win over Coughlin.
Nick Vilov won the No. 1 singles match 6-2, 6-0. Billy Spear took the No. 2 singles match 6-1, 6-0 and Evan Spear won No. 3 singles in straight sets 6-3, 6-0.

Luke Whitenight won the No. 1 singles match 6-0, 6-1 as the Bulldogs swept Pittston.
Berwick’s doubles team of Giuseppe Baratta and Jake Demler won No. 1 doubles 6-0, 6-1.
Wyoming Seminary 4, Tunkhannock 1
Eamon Gibbons won the No. 1 singles match in straight sets 6-2, 6-1 in the Blue Knights win.
The Sem team of Richard Hughes and Michael Kim topped Colin Frano and Gerard Mirabelli in No. 1 doubles 6-1, 6-0.
