LEHMAN TWP. — Jordan McCrum made sure the Dallas baseball team had a successful start to its Wyoming Valley Conference Division 2 title defense.

McCrum threw a one-hitter and struck out 13 when Dallas won, 7-1, at Lake-Lehman April 9.

While also providing two runs, a hit and an RBI to the offense, McCrum walked just one and allowed only a fifth-inning unearned run after Dallas had already scored the first six runs.

Aaron Yurko, who had a double, a run and an RBI, and Christian Wargo each had two hits for Dallas. A.J. Sweppenheiser drove in two runs and Dave Simpson added a double.

Justus Cole had a double for the only Lake-Lehman hit.
