SWOYERSVILLE — The Music Box Players will present “Gals of the Grand Ole Opry,” a heart warmin’, hilarious, high-spirited hootenanny at the Music Box Playhouse, Hughes Street.

This original country musical revue features an all-female cast of ladies who will lead you in over two hours of rousing Wild West singing and dancing. These gals will perform hits from Country legends such as Dolly Parton, Loretta Lynn, Tanya Tucker, Patsy Cline, Shania Twain,

Reba McIntire, Martina McBride, John Denver, Tammy Wynette to name just a few of our classic artists. More recent country artists will also be featured such as Sugarland, Miranda Lambert, Carrie Underwood, Taylor Swift, Dixie Chicks, Rascal Flatts, Garth Brooks and more.

Gals of the Grand Ole Opry is conceived and directed by Dana Feigenblatt.

Performance dates are one weekend only on April 17, 18 and 19. A spaghetti and meatball dinner will be served 90 minutes prior to curtain at each performance!! Show times are 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 3 p.m. on Sunday. Tickets are $22 for dinner and show or $15 for show only and may be purchased by calling the box office at 570-283-2195.
