WILKES-BARRE — City police said the FBI is offering a $1,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of Danielle Drozdowski, 25, who was last seen on Irving Place in South Wilkes-Barre in January.
Police said Drozdowski has been reported missing by her family.
Drozdowski is wanted by U.S. Marshals in connection to a federal case at which she pleaded guilty in November 2012, to conspiring with her then boyfriend, Hasan Woods, to distribute cocaine in Luzerne County.
Drozdowski was sentenced by U.S. District Court Judge Edwin Kosik on March 20, 2013, to two years of supervised release.
A probation violation in June 2014 resulted in Drozdowski being returned to federal custody until June 17, when Kosik released her on her own recognizance ordering her to reside at a woman’s shelter in Wilkes-Barre, court records say.
A second probation violation was filed on July 15, which is sealed from public view.
Other court records filed since then have been sealed.
Drozdowski was involved with Woods smuggling crack cocaine and heroin from New York to Luzerne County from January 2011 to June 2012, when a federal grand jury indicted her and Woods.
According to a sentencing memorandum, Drozdowski suffers mental illness, including depression, anxiety and post-traumatic stress disorder.
Drozdowski came from a broken family and began dating Woods, who was affiliated a group of people from Brooklyn, New York, who called themselves “TF Mafia,” the memorandum says.
Drozdowski was blamed for being a “snitch” and was beaten and set on fire. She underwent reconstructive surgery to her face due to severe injuries, according to the memorandum.
Woods was sentenced in February 2013 to 10 years in federal prison.
Anyone with information about the whereabouts of Drozdowski is asked to call 570-760-9293.
