Celine Podlesney tossed a two-hit shutout as the Cougars won on the road in five innings. Mikaela Browdy led Hazleton Area at the plate, finishing with three hits, three RBI and a triple. Lexi Wolk also tripled.
Cassie Konopki doubled for the Black Knights.

Gwen Glatz struck out nine and scattered six singles in a complete-game victory. Emily Wolfgang led the Warriors at the plate, going 3-for-3.
