Deborah Wychock and John McNichol were united in the sacrament of marriage Friday, June 3, 2016 at the Chapel of Christ the King at King’s College by Reverend Tom Looney CSC.

The bride is the daughter of Thomas and Deborah Wychock, of Wilkes-Barre. She is the granddaughter of Thomas and Anna Wychock, Wilkes-Barre, and the late William and Eleanor Everet, Wilkes-Barre.

The groom is the son of John and Mary McNichol, West Chester. He is the grandson of the late Harry and Kathleen McNichol, Havertown, and the late Edward and Kathleen McCreary, West Chester.

The bride was given in marriage by her father. She chose her best friend, Ashley Girmen, as her maid of honor and her friend, Nicole Lewis, as her bridesmaid.

The groom chose his brothers, Brennen McNichol and Edward McNichol, as his best men and the bride’s brother, Timothy Wychock, as his groomsman.

The bride and groom celebrated with an evening cocktail hour and reception at The Woodlands Inn and Resort, Wilkes-Barre and enjoyed a honeymoon in Bora Bora, Tahiti.

Deborah is a 2008 graduate of King’s College where she earned her bachelor’s degree in chemistry. She earned her master’s degree in educational development and strategies from Wilkes University in 2014. She is employed as a chemistry teacher in the Wilkes-Barre Area School District.

John is also a 2008 graduate of King’s College where he earned his bachelor’s degree in marketing. He earned his master’s degree in health care administration from King’s College in 2010. John is employed as the head women’s soccer coach at the Pennsylvania College of Technology.

The couple resides in Mountain Top.
