Jennifer Frusciante and Steven Bale were united in the sacrament of marriage by the Rev. Alex Roche on July 2, 2016, at St. Ignatius Church, in Kingston. The mass was con-celebrated by Msgr. Neil Van Loon, Rev. John Lapera, Rev. John Chmil, and Deacon John O’Connor.

The bride is the daughter of Nick and Betsy Frusciante, of Edwardsville. She is the granddaughter of Betty Stochla and the late Mayor Joseph J. Stochla, of Edwardsville; Betty Lee Frusciante, of Swoyersville; and the late Nick Frusciante Sr.

The groom is the son of Terry and Evelyn Bale of Apalachin, New York. He is the grandson of the late Theodore “Ted” and Priscilla Falardeau of Berlin, New Hampshire; and Arthur “Bud” Bale and the late Eileen Bale, of Vestal, New York.

Jennifer was given in marriage by her father, Nick Frusciante. She chose her aunt, Janet Stochla, to be her maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Kim D’Aiello, Kathleen Mullay, Jessica Palmeri and Christina Marvin, friends of the bride; Kathryn Estrella, sister of the groom; Nicole Stochla, Kaitlyn Stochla and Kim Dominick, cousins of the bride.The groom’s niece, Gabrielle Estrella, served as flower girl.

The groom chose his father, Terry Bale, as his best man. Groomsmen were Michael Grenier and Greg Barbieri, friends of the groom; Kevin Bale, cousin of the groom; John D’Aiello and David Ziegler, friends of the bride; Mike Estrella, brother-in-law of the groom; and Louis Estrella, nephew of the groom.

The scriptural readings were given by the mother of the groom, Evelyn Bale and the aunt and godmother of the bride, Marilyn Bogumil. The offertory gifts were presented by the bride’s aunts, Michele Stochla and June Butkiewicz. Liturgical music was provided by Carmella Faust, Linda Pineno, and Marlee Mierzwa with soloist, David Ziegler. Members of the St. Ignatius Youth Group served as cantors, altar servers and passed out programs.

The bride was honored at a bridal shower, hosted by her mother, at the Knights of Columbus, Luzerne. The wedding rehearsal dinner was hosted by the parents of the groom at Theo’s Metro, Kingston. The bride and groom celebrated with family and friends at a cocktail hour and reception at Genetti Hotel, Wilkes-Barre.

The bride is a 2001 graduate of Wyoming Valley West High School, earned a bachelor’s degree in elementary education from Misericordia University, and earned a masters in special education from Wilkes University. She is currently employed as a sixth-grade learning support teacher at the Wyoming Valley West Middle School, Kingston. She is also the youth minister at St. Ignatius Loyola Parish, Kingston.

The groom is a 2002 graduate of Vestal Central High School. He attended Broome County Community College and studied political science at SUNY Empire State College. He is currently studying social science at Luzerne County Community College.

The couple celebrated with a honeymoon in Walt Disney World and currently reside in Edwardsville.
