Danielle Sarah Carr and Thomas A. Britton were united in marriage on April 22, 2017, in the Chapel of St. Joseph’s University, Philadelphia. The nuptial Mass was celebrated by the Rev. Daniel Ruff.

The bride is the daughter of Jack and Susan Carr, of Exeter. She is also the granddaughter of Claire H. Carr, formerly of Forty-Fort, and the late Thomas C. Carr; Arlene Savoca, of Swoyersville; and the late Vincent J. Savoca.

The groom is the son of Thomas C. Britton II and Victoria Britton, of Punta Gorda Isles, Fla.; the grandson of the late Thomas C. Britton and the late Lois Britton of Miami, Fla.; and the late Anthony and Helen Bonomo.

Given in marriage by her father, Danielle chose her sister, Natalie Carr, as her maid of honor. Bridesmaids were her friends, Ashley Brum, Alana Chiampi, Joanna Smith, Brianne Dougherty, Katelyn Bivins, Jessy Nuckolls and Whitney Ridgeway.

Tom chose Chris Bivins as his best man. Groomsmen were his friends Seth Champion, John Franzetti, Michael Paccico, Chris Ridgeway, Daniel Summers and Sellars Tate.

Scriptural readings were given by Katie Britton, sister of the groom, and Ryan Carr, brother of the bride. Prayers of the Faithful were given by Marjie Titus, sister of the groom, and Ryan Carr, brother of the bride. Ushers were Ryan and Kyle Carr, brothers of the bride.

Danielle was honored at a bridal shower given by her mother, Susan Carr, and attendants at The Fox Hill Country Club, Exeter. A rehearsal dinner was hosted by the parents of the groom at Barbuzzo on South 13th Street, Philadelphia.

The wedding cocktail hour and dinner reception were held at the Hamilton Garden in The Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts, on Broad Street in Philadelphia.

Danielle is a graduate of Wyoming Area Secondary Center and St. Joseph’s University, with a bachelor of science degree in finance/risk management and a minor in Spanish. She is currently the director of insurance and loss control for Emory University/Emory Healthcare in Atlanta.

Tom is a graduate of Charlotte Catholic High School and Auburn University with a bachelor of science degree in supply chain management, and a bachelor of arts degree in aviation. He is currently manager/supply chain optimization for Georgia Pacific Corp/Koch Industries.

Following a honeymoon in Costa Rica and France, the couple resides in Midtown Atlanta, Georgia.
