Daniel Ryan Walton and Amy Nicole Nadzan were united in marriage on July 15, 2017, at Capriotti’s Palazzo, McAdoo. Luzerne County Judge Tina Polachek Gartley perform the outside ceremony that was followed by a cocktail hour and reception with family and friends.
The bride is the daughter of Christine Mihalick, of Plains Township, and the late Michael Anthony Nadzan, of Dallas. Amy is the granddaughter of the late Andy and Anna Nadzan and the late Walter A. and Helen Borden, all of Wilkes-Barre.
The groom is the son of Arthur and Sandra Walton, of Plains Township. Danny is the grandson of Daniel Fumanti and the late Joan Fumanti, of Plains Township, and the late Mary and Arthur Walton Sr., of Accrington, England.
The bride was escorted by her sons, Malik and Salem Diop. She chose Jennifer MacPhee, maid of honor, Carrie Brdaric and Julie Fromknecht as her bridesmaids. The couple’s daughter, Addison Walton, was their flower girl.
The groom chose his brother, Jason Walton, as his best man. Ryan Boyle, Ross Boyle, Dustin Stark, and brother-in-law Nick Rauh were groomsmen. Malik Diop and Salem Diop, sons of the bride, were also groomsmen and stood by the bride.
Amy is a 1992 graduate of Dallas High School. She earned her associate’s degree in nursing from Luzerne County Community College in 2005.
Danny is a 2005 graduate of James M. Coughlin High School. He earned his bachelor’s degree in nursing from Wilkes University in 2010.
The bride and groom both work as registered nurses in the operating room at Wilkes-Barre General Hospital.
The newlyweds honeymooned at the Finger Lakes, New York, followed by a family vacation to Ocean City, Md. They reside in Plains Township with their three children.
