Allison E. Keeler and Steve D. Steransky were united in marriage on June 23 by the Rev. Jim Paisley at St.Therese’s Church in Shavertown at a traditional ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Kenneth and Patricia Keeler, of Scranton. She is the granddaughter of the late Thomas and Dorothy Keeler, of Clarks Summit, and Ralph and Marjorie Mursch, of Moosic.

The groom is the son of Steve and Mary Grace Steransky, of Exeter. He is the grandson of the late Steve and Patricia Steransky, of Wyoming, and Martha Yakus.

The bride chose her sister, Lindsay Keeler, as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Jaclyn Forlenza, Bridget Yazinski, Taryn Emmett, Sarah Kate Huggler and Stefania Sullivan, sister of the groom.

The groom chose Christopher Stecik as his best man. Groomsmen were Michael Gitkos; Jason Pilchesky; Rich Rachkowski; Joshua Yakus, cousin of the groom; and Chad Sullivan, brother-in-law of the groom.

Sisilia Steransky, daughter of the groom, and Isabella Sullivan, niece of the groom, were flower girls. CJ Sullivan, nephew of the groom was ring bearer.

The bride was honored at a bridal shower hosted by her mother, maid of honor and bridesmaids at The Colonnade in Scranton. The rehearsal dinner was hosted by the groom’s parents at Rodano’s in Wilkes Barre. Following the ceremony, the couple celebrated with an evening cocktail hour and dinner reception at Heart Lake Lodge in Scott Township.

The bride is a 2006 graduate of West Scranton High School and a 2010 graduate of Pennsylvania State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing. She is employed by Moses Taylor Hospital, Scranton, as a registered nurse in the labor and delivery department of the family birthing suites.

The groom is a 2007 graduate of Wyoming Area High School and a 2011 graduate of Pennsylvania State University with a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice. He is employed by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania as a state trooper.

The couple honeymooned at the Secrets Capri, Riviera Maya, Mexico. They reside together in Harding with the groom’s daughter, Sisilia, and their dog, Ellie.
