Gina Marie Giordano and Michael Martin Woods were united in marriage on Saturday, May 26, 2018 at The Church of St. Ignatius Loyola in Kingston. Reverend Joseph Mosley officiated the double ring ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Cataldo (Ky) Giordano, of Exeter, and the late Suzanne Giordano. She is the granddaughter of the late Margaret and Ambrose Gaul and the late Mary and Charles Giordano.
The groom is the son of Gary and Mary Ellen Woods, of Larksville. He is the grandson of the late Mary and Michael Wischak and the late Gertrude and Stanley Woods.
The bride was given in marriage by her father. She chose her cousin, Camille Lombardo, as her maid of honor. Junior bridesmaids were Avery, Brynn and Lucy Giordano, nieces of the bride; and Lydia Kerridge, niece of the groom.
The groom chose his brother, Patrick Woods, as his best man. Junior groomsmen were Grant and Preston Woods, the couple’s sons; and Sawyer Woods, nephew of the groom. Sawyer also served as ring bearer.
Scriptural readings and the prayer of the faithful were given by Michael Giordano, brother of the bride; Kristin Hoats, sister-in-law of the bride; and Grace Lombardo, cousin of the bride. Anthony Griffith and Emma Hoats, nephew and niece of the bride, contributed with the presentation of the gifts.
After the nuptials, an evening cocktail hour and formal reception were held at The Westmoreland Club in Wilkes-Barre.
The bride was honored at a shower at The Café in Plains. Parents of the groom hosted the rehearsal dinner at The Westmoreland Club.
The couple resides in Dallas with their sons Grant, 3; and Preston, 2.
