    Anna Hoblak, 89, of Edwardsville, died Friday in the Leader East Nursing
Home,
   
KingstonBorn May 4, 1906, in Edwardsville, she was the daughter of the late
Jacob and Mary Korlishin.
   
She resided in Edwardsville and Harveys Lake most of her life.
   
She and her late husband, George, operated the West Side Novelty Co. for 40
years.
   
She was a member of St. John the Baptist Orthodox Church, Edwardsville, and
its Mothers and Daughters Club.
   
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by brothers, Frank,
John and Michael Korlishin.
   
Surviving are a daughter, LaVerne Boris, Wilkes-Barre and Harveys Lake; a
son, William, Harveys Lake; one grandson; three great-granddaughters; sisters,
Helen Mahon, Kingston; Marian DeVerteuil, Coral Gables, Fla.
   
Private funeral services will be conducted at the convenience of the family
with requiem services in St. John the Baptist Church, with the Rev. Emilian D.
Hutnyan, pastor, officiating.
   
Interment will be in the Eastern Orthodox Lawn Fern Knoll Burial Park,
Dallas.
   
There will be no calling hours.

Zerbey Ave., Edwardsville, 18704.
   
Arrangements are by the Edwards and Russin Funeral Home, 717 Main
St.,Edwardsville.
